The WordPress Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining websites using WordPress, custom themes, and plugins. The ideal candidate must have a strong understanding of web development, UI/UX principles, and best SEO practices.
📌 Key Responsibilities:
1. Website Development & Customization:
✅ Develop and maintain responsive WordPress websites using themes and custom code.
✅ Create custom WordPress themes and plugins as per client requirements.
✅ Optimize websites for speed, performance, and SEO.
✅ Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness.
2. Plugin & Theme Management:
✅ Customize and configure premium WordPress themes (Houzez, Astra, Divi, etc.).
✅ Integrate and configure essential plugins such as Elementor, WooCommerce, Yoast SEO, and WP Rocket.
✅ Develop and modify custom plugins to enhance website functionality.
3. Technical Optimization & Security:
✅ Implement best security practices to protect websites from vulnerabilities.
✅ Optimize website loading speed using caching, CDN, and image compression.
✅ Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, errors, and performance issues.
4. eCommerce & API Integration:
✅ Develop and manage WooCommerce stores for eCommerce clients.
✅ Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and CRM solutions.
✅ Implement custom checkout flows and product listing functionalities.
5. Maintenance & Updates:
✅ Regularly update themes, plugins, and core WordPress files.
✅ Perform website audits to ensure stability and security.
✅ Provide technical support to clients for website-related issues.
📌 Requirements & Qualifications:
✅ Experience: Minimum 2 years of proven experience as a WordPress Developer.
✅ Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of WordPress CMS, PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.
- Experience with page builders (Elementor, WPBakery, Gutenberg, Divi).
- Familiarity with cPanel, hosting, and domain management.
